The holiday season is upon us and with it, the buying season. Like previous years we expect to see a big surge in online shopping and we hope to see your business grow significantly.  The Shopper traffic, like previous years, started ramping up during Independence Day & Rakhi in the North, and Onam in the South. We expect the buying season to last till January next year, but the biggest sale period starts around the Navratri period and stays till after Diwali.

I wanted to reach out to you, to tell you that we really appreciate your association with us all these years. My team and I will be working overtime to make sure that you have the most fabulous holiday season for your business, ever. Like you, we have invested a lot during the year to be prepared for the upcoming buying season. Our Technology, Logistics, Operations, Marketing, and Category teams are ready to scale with your business. We will be spending a considerable amount of money to attract new customers via multiple online channels, our logistics partners will be increasing their capacity to serve you better, we have also on-boarded several new regional courier partners to expand reach.

Today we have the largest reach of pincodes for any eCommerce company in India. We have launched programs to reduce RTOs & RMA which has already started showing reducing trends for returns. Based on your feedback we have realigned RMA fees to not penalize sellers where they have done their best to serve the buyer. We started RTO pilots with some of you to reduce returns by 30% by reconnecting RTOs en-route. This will save you the operational overhead of handling the return.

The buyer, on the other hand, will get the product sooner. We will launch the program for the larger community in a phased manner. Some of you will also be able to take benefit of invoicing changes around GST on shipping charges. All of the above programs I have talked about will be explained to you periodically in our blogs, webinars, and this newsletter.
